I’m Kim – half Canadian/half Australian born with the travel bug. I’ve been traveling Internationally since I was child, it was after all, the only way to see half my family.
I also happen to be an Introvert – so Solo Travel is the only way to go for me. Somewhere along the way I caught the Photography bug, and now I can share my journeys without having to share a hotel room.
My only travel companion (other than my camera) is Kimini – a Lego Minifigure of me. Just a Redhead and her Minifig, taking on the world.
As a Solo Female Traveler I have to be smart about my destinations. Plus, I’m just plain old picky. Beaches, the hot kind, really aren’t my thing – see above re: Redhead. But rugged landscapes, stormy seas, towering architecture, bustling cities, quaint little hamlets, art galleries, museums and libraries – sign me up. I’m coming, with Kimini in my pocket.
